I’m so excited about this book! I didn’t want to write something that simply told about the financial miracles God has done for me. But I wanted to practically help others know how to have the same kind of results. So this book is a playbook. Just like in sports. It will have the story of the need we faced from small to the astronomically huge and how God provided every time. Then we will give you what I call “the play call.” After you understand the Biblical method that was used you are then given a teaching on how to use that knowledge. I can promise it will give you the tools to change your situation and to realize that “You Don’t Need Money. You Just Need God.”

Because my faith says that I believe for something, I take actions for something I can’t see yet, and there’s a delayed gratification coming. But someday that thing’s going to manifest and when it does, it’s going to be so much greater than what I could have got or accomplished in the here and now, because I had faith and I believed for what God could do and he does above and beyond what I could ever ask or imagine. So it’s always much bigger. The outcome is so much better. So you have to understand that if you believe God’s word is true, then the next logical thing to understand and believe is that if it’s in his word and you. Hey everybody, welcome to the Jamie Luce Podcast. Thank you so much for joining me today. I hope that today is going well for you. I hope it’s a wonderful day and if not, then I think today’s subject may be of a great help to you. Today’s subject may be of a great help to you.

You know I was thinking about how, no matter what we face, I think at some time or another we wonder how am I supposed to pray about this? I know I’m supposed to pray when I run up against any kind of situation or circumstance, but I want to know how should I be praying? What should I pray? And there’s so many wonderful messages you can find on prayer and all the different kinds of prayer and that we should be praying all kinds of prayer. But I want today to talk about a very particular kind of prayer, and I’m calling this warfare prayers when you’re dealing with a situation that seems to be not just that you’re dealing with, but seems to be fighting you, something that feels like you’re on the defense because something is attacking and you need to know how to pray about that. I want you to do like we normally do and I’m going to ask you to get your Bibles out and some pens and paper and get something to write down, because I want you to take some notes today and I’m going to give you several scriptures and things to think about, things to possibly put into action today, no matter what you’re facing, no matter what’s going on, because the reason we pray is we need answers, right, I mean, we don’t pray just because it’s a ritual. It’s not something we do just because we’re supposed to. It’s not a box that we check off and say there, I did that. Today. We don’t live a life according to earning and works, though our works we talked about this in a previous broadcast, that there are works that we show forth because of our faith, but it’s not something that we do in order to say that we’ve earned something or that because of that we are. It’s not because I pray a particular prayer that I necessarily get an answer to that prayer. It is the faith behind that prayer, but it is also understanding the power behind the prayer, and you will pray different prayers if you understand and know how to tap into the power source. Understand and know how to tap into the power source. So, if I want so.

For instance, today I had a microwave break and I’d ordered a brand new microwave had the gentleman come and install that microwave today and when we went to turn it on there was no power. And so we looked at the power source that the old one had been put into and when we checked it there was no power getting to that outlet. And I need to now call an electrician to come out and fix the power source. The microwave is fully functional. I know that because I plugged it into an extension cord, into another plug, and it turned on. So I know there’s nothing wrong with the microwave plug and it turned on. So I know there’s nothing wrong with the microwave, but it has to be plugged into a power source in order for me to use it.

And really that’s what we’re going to talk about today is how to have the kind of prayers, how to pray the kind of prayers that are actually plugged into a power source so that they do what they are supposed to do. And it, you know, even the disciples I love. I love that our disciples and the examples we have in scripture are so human, because we can look at Jesus and we can say, yeah, but he’s God, and and we kind of let that be not. You know, sadly, we don’t look at that the way we should. That, oh my gosh, we serve God. That in itself is amazing, and the power he has and we serve him, that alone is fantastic. But we don’t actually look at it that way. We’ll say, but he was God, as if that’s our excuse. He could do it because he was God, but our prayers are not God prayers and our prayers shame on us, because that is not true. Those are wrong thoughts.

You are building up a stronghold in your mind of wrong thoughts and that stronghold. You know a stronghold can be one of two things. You can either run into the stronghold to be safe because you have proper thoughts built up and that structure that you have built of understanding of the scripture, that power source, keeps you protected. Those faith walls that you have built keep you protected. Or you can be someone who thinks they’re going to run into something and now you are trapped in that stronghold. You are trapped in those thoughts because you have built a structure that is forced against you, it is hindering you and you can’t get out. And you have to know that the way you think about prayer is a stronghold in your mind.

Now, whether it’s a good stronghold or a bad stronghold determines the outcome of your prayers, and knowing how you think about prayer and what you think of the word will determine the outcome in your life. And so I want to encourage you today. I want to challenge some thoughts and maybe you need to tear down some strong holds. The Bible tells us that we have to take every thought captive and pull it down. We pull down those strongholds if they are something that comes against what we know to be the true knowledge of God. So we have to take our thoughts, and we have to. You know so many times if you’ve been raised around Christians for any length of time, we make jokes, even amongst ourselves, that we’ll be starting to talk Christianese and we just know how to talk the talk. But you have to look at and watch out, for because there are a lot of thoughts that are human, thoughts, that are not biblical, thoughts, that are not biblical, thoughts that are actually contrary to God’s word, that we start saying as if they are true and as if they are biblical when they are not, and then, if we think they’re biblical and they’re right, we just agree with them.

I was listening to a phenomenal message this morning by Jonathan Shuttlesworth evangelist. He’s now a pastor as well, jonathan Shuttlesworth, out of Pittsburgh, pennsylvania, and he was. This was several years ago. This message was years ago, but this was a message on faith that he had taught and in that message, the truth of understanding what you believe and then what you say with your mouth, because you will have what you say, and I’ve done episodes about that very topic. You will have what you say. But do you know that most people don’t we take that? If we’re talking about faith, we think, okay, I have to start believing and saying with my mouth what I’m believing for. But do you know you do that on the negative side People will say oh, I’m dealing with my arthritis again, I’m dealing with my.

You know, it’s my cancer, it’s my tumor, it’s my. You know sickness, it’s my bad leg, it’s my, it’s my, it’s whatever it is. And we say my. And we actually have laid hold of being the victim to that thing. We have accepted defeat in that very thing and taken ownership of it and made it ours. And the minute you take that thing and you make it yours, it won’t matter what you pray. You already own that thing. You’ve already, with your words, declared and owned that sickness. You’re going to keep that sickness. It doesn’t matter if you say another prayer, lord, heal me, because the very next thing out of your mouth is my. You’re holding on to your own chains, keeping yourself bound by by owning that stuff.

And he gave a great example of his uncle who at one point, when he was out doing healing ministry, out holding tent meetings, healing ministry, ted Shuttlesworth Sr. And all of a sudden he’s getting this growth and the growth is turns into an open, sore growth and it oozes. And he said and you know, the funny thing is, we would look at that wrongly and we would criticize and say you’re a healing minister and you’re, you’ve got that and you can’t even get healed. I mean, we would totally be critical. It’s we have such work and character, work to do in us on the way we treat our own body as the body of Christ and how we look at things and don’t see them with discernment. But anyway, he had that thing and you know it wasn’t a person who said anything to him about it.

The Lord dealt with him about it, dealt with him about allowing that thing to stay, that he’s a faith preacher and he believes in healing. He goes to these meetings and people get healed. God gives them a word of knowledge about it and they’re healed. And the Lord dealt with him about it because he allowed it, because he was using the terminology my growth or my tumor, whatever it was. And the Lord dealt with him about it. And he began, he realized what the Lord was telling him and you know he he changed his, the way he talked about it and if anybody asked him about it he’d say, oh, that that’s Jesus’s tumor. And do you know, people looked at him really funny. They didn’t, they didn’t like that, they didn’t know how to take that. And do you know that? It wasn’t but a few days after he began saying that he’s. He says I figured that Jesus didn’t like that, I was calling it Jesus’s tumor and that thing dried up and was gone. Because he did not take ownership of that. He gave it to the Lord and said Lord, this is yours and what we pray We’ve got to understand.

I don’t send somebody into battle, into war, until they’ve gone through basic training and they have been taught. They’ve not just been taught how to become someone who takes orders. They’ve been taught how to think new, different. They’ve been taught how to use weapons, how to take those weapons apart, how to clean those weapons, how to put those weapons back together, how to use those weapons with precision. They have been taught how their enemy works, how they have to approach or not approach, how they have to use strategy against their enemy. They have been prepared and we have to understand that. We are the body of Christ and he has given us we have the example of putting on the whole armor of God, and each piece of armor is used for battle, whether for protection or for using in offense, and we have to know that the sword of the spirit is the word of God. We’re going to use the word of God. We have to learn how to wield our swords so you’re not needing to go into battle without knowing what to do.

And the disciples? I go back to where I started. The disciples whom I love, who are wonderful examples for us, had come to Jesus at one point and said teach us to pray. They saw that he would get away with the Lord and he would get his tank filled up, so to speak. He got inside information Somehow when he pulled off to pray. Then the minute he emerged from that prayer time, phenomenal miracles would take place. And these disciples were like we’re watching you, we’re supposed to. Disciples’ job is to emulate and do what they see their teacher doing. They are to be them, they are to learn how to be them, and so they recognize okay, we see you operating in this and we don’t know how to do that. Teach us to pray. So these disciples are bold enough to ask to be taught to prayer, to pray. And I’m saying for us, we have to be that same way. We have to just say and don’t, don’t get me wrong Listen, god. He listens to all kinds of prayers. He listens to every thrown up prayer, every cry. He hears our cries.

I’m trying to give you the strategic prayers when you know you need to deal with something and you want to deal with it. I mean you want to take that giant out, you want to move that mountain. You are serious. I’m not talking about the emergency prayer. Something happens and catches you off guard and all of a sudden you’re just, you catch yourself, jesus, you call out his name. I mean, I’ve done that a million times. But there are times when I know I’m in a time of prayer and I have focused myself and I want to pray powerful prayers. I want to pray prayers that are going to make a difference and they’re going to change things and I’m going to get the outcome I am expecting, and so that’s what I want to talk to you today about. So enough of that intro. Right, we’re going to get into the meat of it here.

Because let’s look at some scriptures, because what you need to first understand is that the power source number one, key power source of prayer there are two power sources, kind of like the prongs in a plug. Okay, there are two of them. One of them is the word of God, the other one is the Holy Spirit. Now, when you have the word of God, you have the Holy Spirit. What you have to understand about the word of God, the word of God, the Bible, what we have as scripture, is the expressed will of God. What we have as scripture is the expressed will of God. So, when you pray prayers, if you want them answered, then you want to pray prayers that you know are God’s will Right off the bat. You want to know they’re God’s will. So if I take the Bible, which is alive and living, it’s breathing. It is the spirit of God through men, manifest in the written scriptures. It is his will, it is his expressed, it has been expressed. His will has been expressed and written down. That is his will. That is the word of God that we have. That is not my idea of what does God want?

I don’t have to wonder what is God thinking when it’s in scripture. I know I have a definitive knowledge of what God says, what he wants, what he wants done, and so I can pray that prayer and I can know that I am standing in agreement with God. Here’s the other thing. If you know it’s God’s word, if you can lay hold of this, oh my gosh, this will rock your world. This revelation, this understanding will rock your world forever. It will change how you look at prayer forever. If you can understand this, if you can lay hold of this, the word of God and I’m going to give you scriptures to prove this Okay, so we have the word of God.

The word of God is his expressed will. The word of God is true. And not only is the word of God true and I’ll prove that. The word of God is already in action. The word of God that has been expressed in scripture is already happening. It’s already happening. So how do I know that? The minute and I’m going to give you scriptures that prove this so the minute that God speaks, the scripture says that that has to take place, it has to act. Well, if it’s in scripture, folks, it’s already been spoken, he already said it. Okay, I’m getting a little bit ahead of myself, but he’s already said it. So let’s start with the truth of the word. Let’s look at the truth of the word. Go to Isaiah 55, 11. It says and I’m reading this out of new king james, so shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth. Okay, he’s talking about his word, that he has spoken. We just said, if it’s in scripture, he already said it because it’s already recorded, it’s been said. Because it’s already recorded, it’s been said, he’s already said it. Okay, no-transcript. But it will, or it shall, accomplish what I please and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. So God’s word is his will and his word is truth. I’m going to give you the truth scripture in just a second. This is what he promises. This is already in action. It’s how the worlds were created. He spoke it. There it was. That’s the creation. He said it and there it was.

We have all the prophecies about Jesus said he was coming, what would happen, how he’d come, and then he came. And he came just like it was said in all those prophecies. If his word is already said it, folks, he’s already said it. So it is already gone forth from his mouth. It cannot return to him void and it will accomplish what it was set out to do. It absolutely will finish it. It will do what it was said it would do. It will prosper in the thing that it was sent to.

So if you have listen, if you call yourself a Christian, you have to believe the word is true. If you don’t believe the truth that the Bible is true, why are you even doing this? Why pray If you don’t? I saw a tweet and I sort of responded and retweeted and the tweet basically was saying that you can learn to be prosperous as long as you and I’m paraphrasing now, this is not the exact words of it but as long as you understand and are okay with delayed gratification. Okay, so people who don’t spend their money right now because they expect to see an answer right now, then they’re going to waste money everywhere. They’re not going to be those who know how to save or invest for the much larger harvest that comes later. So they understand delayed gratification.

Well, my response to that tweet was that, well, I call that faith, because my faith says that I believe for something, I take actions for something I can’t see yet and there’s a delayed gratification coming, but someday that thing’s going to manifest and when it does, it’s going to be so much greater than what I could have got or accomplished in the here and now, because I had faith and I believed for what God could do. And he does above and beyond what I could ever got or accomplished in the here and now, because I had faith and I believed for what God could do. And he does above and beyond what I could ever ask or imagine. So it’s always much bigger. The outcome is so much better.

So you have to understand that if you believe God’s word is true, then the next logical thing to understand and believe is that if it’s in his word and you prayed it, it’s coming to pass period because it has to accomplish. It’s his word. It can’t return void. It will accomplish what God pleases and it will prosper in the thing it was sent to. So it’s being sent. You’re sending that word to something very specific and whatever it’s being sent to, it’s going to prosper in that thing. Okay, I hope you’re getting this because, like I said, this is life changing.

If you learn to trust the word, it settles you down. When you know the word and you have prayed the word, you can say to yourself when the enemy starts saying well, if that’s true, why hasn’t it happened yet? You’ve been waiting a long time. You haven’t seen that yet. You know this faith stuff doesn’t work. Just walk away from God. You’re wasting your time. You wasted all this time and energy. Just go do what you want to do.

I mean, the devil will do all kinds of things and say all kinds of things and try to really mess you up, try to get you to let go of your faith. But if you know that that word is truth and what you’ve set that word out to do, then when he comes whispering to you, when he comes saying things to you, you’re quieted down immediately, your spirit comes into a peace and you say no, sir, devil, and you do just like Jesus did in the wilderness when the enemy came and said something to him. He turned right around and responded by using the word. He used the word so you would turn around and you say right to the enemy no, sir, the word says and because it says that thing’s going to be accomplished and do what God sent it to do and it’s going to happen. And it just immediately puts you back in faith and brings you peace. That’s if you believe it.

But we I don’t I don’t know how to say this any stronger. I have said this so much and I feel it so it burns in me. I wish I could scream it, people. If we call ourselves Christian, that means we’re believers. We have to believe. You have to believe God. Your belief will be manifest by the words you speak out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. It’ll be proof in the pudding if you’ll say it, if you’ll actually put words and start living and saying what you say you believe.

And I’m not talking about there’s plenty of people who like to go out there and spew all kinds of wonderful scriptures but they don’t live a holy life, consecrated life. They’re not living for the Lord. If your life is not lined up with the word, don’t expect the word to work for you. So that’s my disclaimer Okay. But if you, if you are somebody who lives to follow the Lord and you know you’re doing what he’s called you to do, you’re doing your best. I mean, you’re doing your best to follow the Lord and to follow what you see are the instructions you find in scripture. If you’re doing that, then you can be confident. When you pray that prayer and you have faith that what God said is actually true, you will have what you have said. You will have what you have said. We have to get rid of double-mindedness, folks. I have dealt with this. We have all dealt with this At some point or another. We have been tossed to and fro in our mind and one day we feel we believe and and the next day we don’t, and we fall out of faith.

Stay in the word, stay in faith. Don’t disengage, don’t unplug. How do you stay plugged in? Stay in the word, stay in the word. You can’t stay in the word regularly. I mean, I’m talking stay in the word all the time, whether that’s day and night, whether that’s once a day.

Stay in the word. But you can’t go one day a week and think you’re staying in the word. No, you’re staying in the world and visiting faith once a week. You got to stay in the word, stay in faith. And when you do, then faith comes out of you, scripture comes out of you and you are wielding your sword of faith. You are combating the enemy and you will have what you say. You will have what the word has said If you learn to pray the word. Got to pray the word, because the word is what God’s expressed will. I am partnering with God and what God said is going to happen, period. Either I believe that or I don’t. Let’s, before we even go on, just decide if you believe that or not. If you believe it, you can have what you believe, for you can have what you say if you’re praying the scripture and you’re praying what God has said. Let’s look at Numbers 23, 19. God is not a man that he should lie, nor a son of man that he should repent. Has he said and will he not do? Or has he spoken and he will not make it good? Or has he spoken and he will not make it good? Oh, yes, he will, absolutely he will.

Your God is not a liar.

He’s not a man. He doesn’t change his mind. He is the same yesterday, today and forever, and he does not change. Let’s look at Romans 3, 4. He says, indeed, let God be true, but every man a liar. Let God be true and every man a liar.

I don’t care what anybody has told you, I don’t care how much you trust those people. What they say is contrary to the word. Folks, you got to throw it out. You got to throw it out. I’m sorry, you got to throw it out. You have to stick with what God has said to you and do what God says Believe God. I don’t care what people have said to you, I don’t care how much they. Those people have never steered you wrong. If they say something contrary to the word of God, you have got to throw it out. Let God be true in. Every man a liar.

Look at John 17, 17,. Look at John 17, 17. Sanctify them by your truth. Your word is truth. John 17, 17. Sanctify them by your truth, so we get sanctified by truth. And what is the truth? Your word is truth. His word is not a liar. Everything God says is true. Everything God says will happen. Period. John 14, 6,.

Jesus said to him I am the way. He is the way, not your way, not man’s way, not the easy way. Jesus is the way, he’s the only way. I love the old song Jesus is the answer for the world. Today, anyway, I’m getting off, I hear that song going in my mind. Jesus said to him I am the way, the truth and the life.

No one comes to the father except through me, no one. There’s no special door for people who, who just they just couldn’t do it that way. They just didn’t like that way. That was uncomfortable for them, that wasn’t the way they were raised. No, I’m sorry, that’s not my culture. You know, I don’t care what your reason is, I don’t care what your excuse is. I don’t care if you think that that’s not loving, that God is loving. So he would just let them know he’s not.

He doesn’t raise spoiled brats who get to do whatever they want. He doesn’t do that. He’s a good father. He disciplines his children. In fact, he says if he doesn’t discipline you, you’re not his. I mean, the Bible’s actually uses really strong language, calls you a bastard. You have to be. You are God’s child. If he disciplines you, if he teaches you, if he tells you yes to this, no to that, if he says do it this way because I know what’s good for you, he’s a good dad. He’s a good father. Yes, he loves you, but he loves you enough to keep you out of trouble, to train you, but make you a strong warrior. He knows how to make you an overcomer. His job is to not make you just survive, he wants to make you an overcomer. You’re his children. He said he is an overcomer. He’s duplicating himself. He’s making a bride who has overcome, who is without spot or wrinkle, a victorious bride. That’s us. Okay, let’s look at john 18, 37.

Jesus is talking to pilot. It says pilot says to jesus you are a king. Then, said pilot. Jesus answered you say that I am a king. In fact, get this.

The reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the truth. This is me Jesus is saying listen, I came for this reason. I have to tell you the truth. I came to tell you the truth about my father. I came to tell you the truth about how you live your life. I came to tell you the truth about what it takes to be saved, that you have to be sanctified and get to heaven. I came to tell you the truth. And he says what’s truth? What’s truth? Jesus is truth. His word is truth.

We already read that Everyone on the side of truth listens to me. So if you listen to another voice that all religions do not lead, you know they like to say that all the religions are different roads that all lead to God. That is so not true. That is so not true. Jesus said there’s one way. I’m the way, period. End of story. You may not like it.

He offended lots of people with what he said. There was once a huge group following him and Jesus told them if you don’t eat my body and drink my blood, then you’re, you can’t partake in me. Basically, you can’t follow me, you don’t. And they all a ton of them left because what he said was a hard word and it offended him. Well, this may be hard, it might offend you, but it’s the truth. And he says if you want truth, those who listen to me, those are the ones who know truth. That’s, you’re on the side of truth. If you listen to Jesus, listen, folks, we have the truth. God already determined the outcomes for the things that he has said and declared through his word. That he has said and declared through his word. So if I can learn to agree with God by declaring what he has already said, I am guaranteed the outcome of that word.

I know God hears all prayers. You don’t have to worry that he doesn’t hear you or that you’re praying wrong. You can pray. You can pray whatever you want to pray. You can pray with all kinds of prayers. The Bible tells us to pray with all kinds of prayers, to pray without ceasing. To pray all the prayers. Pray in tongues, pray in English, you know, pray all the prayers. But if you’re looking to precisely pray about something and get a particular answer, you find it in scripture. You pray the scripture. You cannot go wrong praying God’s word Just right out of the bat, out of the chute. You can’t, you can’t go wrong. Scripture tells us over and over again that God hears us when we pray, but we can pray with strategic precision, because prayer is a weapon and we need to be using that prayer as a sword and wielding our sword. You know, the better I know how to wield my sword, the better soldier I’m going to be, the better swordsman I’m going to be, the more victories I’m going to see, right, so let’s give you some examples I had these are my personal examples.

I had two different neighbors and we had moved into this beautiful. The home we were living in was a brand new home, so it’s being constructed, and we were going there all the time and while it was being built and we learned who most of the neighbors were during that time. But I had not met all the neighbors and two that were one that was directly across from me, just slightly to the left, and the one that was just to the right of that one, so right in front of me, the two homes right in front of me. I didn’t know those two people. I knew people on both sides of me, I knew the other people across the street, but I did not know who those two people were in front of us and those people one night I don’t know if the parents were gone.

All of a sudden I didn’t see the people I normally saw in that house and at night there was all this ruckus going on outside and I thought what in the world is going on? Because it was a very safe neighborhood, very nice, very safe, very, you know, really nice place. And I go out and I see just tons of people out there partying in the street. I mean a lot of like young adult age right, and they’re carrying on. I mean a lot of like young adult age right, and they’re carrying on. People were laying in the street, they were laying on the lawns, they were loud, there was fighting going on, there was trash all over and I mean I was stunned. It was late at night and the noise got me up and I went to go look out the window to see what in the world was going on.

And so I was concerned about this because I turned around the very next night, the same thing happened the second night and I thought, okay, this cannot go on. This is my neighborhood. I have small children at the time I did and it’s like, and I was worried about their safety. I was worried about my property. I didn’t want my property being all messed up and I thought I did not move to this nice neighborhood to have it tore up by these kids. I didn’t know what was going.

So the Lord led me to a passage of scripture and I realized when he led it to me why he led me there. Um, and the word that he gave me, and it’s might be interesting to you and you might actually think it’s funny, but it it spoke to what was going on and I used the word as my weapon and began to pray this prayer and this is out of Psalm 91. And this is verses three to six, and it says surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. And when I read that word, that word jumped off the page at me and I realized that was what the Lord was leading me there for the word pestilence. These are pests. They have come to tear up my property, to tear up my neighborhood. I don’t know if you understand about um pestilence, but they come in and they just destroy crops and land and it’s like, and I understood the Lord was saying this is a pestilence in your neighborhood and you need to deal with it as as it is. So he called it in my spirit, pestilence. And I knew it. And so I was saying Lord, you’re going to deliver me, save me from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers and under his wings you will find refuge. His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night because they would do this, obviously at night nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. So I began declaring that, saying Lord, your word says you will save me from this.

I, you know, I pray pretty strong prayers. I pray pretty strong prayers and I was coming against it and I was declaring all kinds of things. But I was using this passage of scripture and declaring this passage of scripture and do you know that they I don’t know what happened that never happened again, I mean not even on a small scale. It after praying these prayers. It never happened again, not not once. Well, I get that victory praying that particular prayer and I go to bed one night and I’m awakened.

It’s like 2, 30, 3 o’clock in the morning, something like that, and I’m wide awake and I have this urgency in my spirit to go get up and go look out the windows. Now the front of the house had my children’s bedrooms and so I had to go in to quietly go into out the windows. Now the front of the house had my children’s bedrooms and so I had to go into, quietly, go into their rooms. And I had shutters and I just slightly opened the shutter, just enough to peek out in the dark, without turning lights on, to see what was going on, why the Lord was having me go look outside, because I didn’t hear anything, there was no noise. It was the Holy Spirit telling me to go look. And so I got up and I went to look. And when I looked outside I saw the strangest thing. And in the house in front of me there is a lawn chair sitting in the driveway and a man is sitting on the lawn chair. I mean, this is three in the morning and there’s nobody around. His door is not up, the garage door is not up, his garage door is closed. And all of a sudden I see, come down the street, a car and the car stops, a man gets out, the two men talk and exchange something and then the man leaves.

And I knew, okay, whatever this is. And I knew, okay, this, whatever this is, it’s shady, to say the least. This was, this was shady business. I didn’t know if it was drugs, I didn’t know. I honestly didn’t know what it was for sure. I could not tell exactly what took place, but I knew the Lord woke me up to watch what was going to happen. I literally felt like when the scripture said that that the uh God tells the prophet in what the King is doing in his bedchamber, I literally got up to go see what was happening.

At the time it was happening without knowing anything and without hearing anything. The Holy Spirit got me up and I saw it, and immediately then the Lord reminded me of the scripture that I had just prayed about the one neighbor. So I began praying that same prayer over this neighbor. I said I don’t know what’s going on, lord, but it’s not good, and I had another situation happen with that house. It would take too long to tell you Again. The Lord woke me up in the same fashion.

I woke up, I went and looked out the window. I could not believe what then ended up transpiring before my eyes the strangest event I know. That’ll make you crazy because you don’t know what it is. But basically I watched a man real quickly. He came down the street no lights on his vehicle, everything was dark, and he got out and walked around the perimeter of that house and eventually got back in his car and then left. Had walked around the perimeter of the house and so I called the police because I thought is this person trying to break in? I didn’t know what was going on. It was definitely shady. The police came and he told me I could watch from the window and just see what was going on. He parked up the street with his lights off, went down to the house and came to the front door, checked around the house, didn’t see anything and knocked on the front door of that house. Again, it was three in the morning. At three o’clock in the morning, all of a sudden they opened the front door and, to my amazement, an entire family including children, little children, stacked like how you see on the back of car windows and they have dad, mom, child, and they go down to the dog and they’re all the different heights and the ages. Literally an entire family presents themselves at three o’clock in the morning at the front door. The police officer ended up telling me I’m not exactly sure what has gone down here tonight. I can tell you that something is not right and we’ll be looking into it, and that’s all I knew.

Whatever was going on in that house, it was very odd, very strange, and anyway, I began to pray this prayer. Do you know? I found out within a very short period of time. It was in the newspapers. It was quite a big deal. This man was living a fraudulent life. He had purchased the home fraudulently with someone else’s identity. He was an identity thief and they were living in the house they should never have been living in. I don’t know how they got ahold of it and whose name it was. I pray that that person’s credit and life was restored from all that happened in that house. And they were so angry when they were found out that they destroyed the inside of the house right before they left. I mean, they destroyed the inside of that brand new house, destroyed it. But I used this prayer and I knew when they got found out that the Lord had me report it. And it was quickly found out and everything that needed to get discovered was discovered and they were removed.

And I’m telling you, people, the word of God is powerful, powerful.

It is more powerful than a two-edged sword.

Your word, pray the word, folks. Let’s look at Isaiah 55, verse 8 through 11. It says for my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are my ways your ways. That’s why I said go to the word, because the Lord took me to a pestilence scripture to pray about this. But it was the scripture that was truth about the situation and it was the one that had the power. Okay, my thoughts are not your thoughts, my ways are not your ways, declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. As the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth and we read this earlier. It will not return to me empty, but it will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. So you have to know the power of God’s word. His word is already active, it’s already in motion. The Lord simply needed me to agree His word, that pestilence scripture was already in action. God needed to wake me up, show me the problem so I could declare the word that was already in action, so that it would take place and bring about the victory for my life. And that is exactly what happened.

And if you will get a hold of the scriptures that God gives you and tells you to pray over your situation, you will see mountains move, folks, you will see it. Let’s look at, because I don’t want you to get discouraged when you’re in that little waiting period. Sometimes there’s a little waiting period. I had a little waiting period with that second neighbor, but I knew the word was active and moving. I just had to be patient in that little middle time While the word was going forth. It was moving, it was active, it was producing.

Something Like thinking about a crop. You plant a seed. Well, that seed needs time to germinate, that seed needs watering, that seed needs growth time before you pull that harvest up. There might be some time in there. And don’t get discouraged.

You know the scripture says that hope deferred makes the heart sick. When you start to lose hope about a situation because you’ve been waiting, hold on folks. Hold on, he will not disappoint, he’s not a liar. If you will just believe that God is not a liar, you can hold onto your hope and know. I just haven’t seen it manifest yet, but it is working. It is active in my life, it is happening. Hebrews 11, one says now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. I have now faith. Right now I have faith, so it is active. It is where the substance of my hope lies, cause I already believe it’s taking place. It’s happening. 2 Peter 3, 9.

The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. God is working all things out for your sake, folks. He doesn’t want anything anyone destroyed in the process. He’s not gonna do things that are gonna bring harm. He’s not gonna leave loose ends. He’s not going to leave loose ends. He’s not going to make a mess. He’s the master chess player and he’s going to do what’s best for you. In the end you will see that. But it takes that patience.

Romans 5.3,. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance. Perseverance, character, character, hope, and now hope does not disappoint. It does not disappoint. It does not disappoint. If you’ve got hope in God, it will not disappoint you because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. You cannot let what people do and the hope disappointment, the disappointment of hope that you feel in people determine that you think that’s the way God is. God is not people, he’s God. He will not fail you. He will not turn his back on you. He will not change his mind.

If God spoke a word over your life, hang on to it. You need to be determined, like Joseph. When God spoke that word, he went through years of heartache and being oh what’s the word? He was betrayed by his family. He was totally lied about and betrayed by the people he worked for and gave his life for. This man went through hell and high water and he never once didn’t believe God’s word. And that word came to pass. We have to be that way. Even if years go by, I’m telling you God is not a liar. His word is the truth and it will come to pass.

Let’s look at Proverbs 14, 29. Whoever is patient has great understanding, but who is quick-tempered displays folly. We have to be those who understand by patience. Patience brings understanding. Romans 12, 12. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction and faithful in prayer. There’s the whole thing in a nutshell. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction and faithful in prayer. Romans 8, 25. But if we hope for what we do not have yet, we wait for it patiently. Galatians 6.9,. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

King David in Psalm 131.2 says instead and Psalm 131 too says instead instead I have calmed and quieted myself like a weaned child who no longer cries for its mother’s milk. Yes, like a weaned child. Is my soul within me? What’s he saying? He’s saying I have learned, I have weaned myself. I don’t cry at every little thing anymore. I know what my provision, where my provision is. I know that if I go and I am patient and wait, my provision will make itself manifest. I don’t have to whine like a baby. I know I’m going to have what I prayed for.

Psalm 37, seven and nine says be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him. Do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. Refrain from anger and turn from wrath. Do not fret. It leads only to evil, for those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land. Praise the Lord. Psalm 27, 14 says wait for the Lord, be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Why does he tell us that? Because he’ll come through, because God will come through for you.

I know that I have gone over guys. I want to give you these last couple of verses and a handful of the prayers that I have prayed over the years that are scripture, just so you have them and you’re able to use them in your arsenal. I want to share my ammunition with you. Okay, let’s look at Psalm five, verse three. It says in the morning, lord, you hear my voice. In the morning, I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly. Put faith to your prayers, wait with expectation that God is going to do exactly what he said he was going to do. Isaiah 30, verse 18, says yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you. Therefore, he will rise up to show you compassion, for the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him. Praise God, I’m encouraging myself. I don’t know how you’re feeling, but I am so encouraged myself.

And I’ll finish with this powerful verse Isaiah 46, 10. Listen to these words. I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say my purpose will stand. Oh folks, my purpose will stand. Listen, and I will do all that I please. God is so good, he’s the truth and he is so faithful. His word is already working, it’s already working. His purpose will stand and he will do all that he pleases, amen.

So here are those last things that I was going to give you. These are prayers that I have prayed. These are little things. These are all from scripture and I have prayed these myself and I’m going to give them to you as my gift to you today for hanging with me, and I’m just going to shoot through them. You might need to pause and be writing these down and pause again. That’s the beauty of technology you can stop it and write and go back and start it again. So feel free to do that. But here they are.

I will go forth in joy and be led in peace. I will go forth in joy and be led in peace. Here’s another. As the day is, so shall my strength be. I use that one a lot. No matter what my day holds, I can start my day and say, lord, I don’t have to be weary about today, I don’t have to worry about today. As the day is, so shall my strength be. Here’s another Go in the strength you have. I hear those words and I speak it over myself.

God said that to Gideon before he called him to go and lead an army and bring victory for the whole people of Israel. And he said, he told him, go in the strength you have. You have enough, you don’t need more. Quit listening to the devil who says you don’t have enough. Yes, you do. Go in the strength that you have. My children shall be taught of the Lord and great shall be the peace of my children. I pray that over my children for years. I still pray that prayer. I still believe I’m and God’s doing it. God’s doing it and it’s beautiful to see.

Go before me and make my crooked places straight. Oh, I pray that one all the time to all these. I pray them all the time. Lord, no matter where I go, you know how to make my crooked path straight. Straighten out my path, lord, I know you’re going to make it easy for me. I don’t turn to the right or to the left. I will stay on the narrow road. That’s how I pray. I said order my steps in your word, lord, order my steps, make sure I give you complete control. I tell you today, lord, no matter what the plans of man are in me or in others, I lay my life before you and I say have your way, father, in my life, order my steps today, make sure I’m where I’m supposed to be, with whom I’m supposed to be with, and say what I’m supposed to. I say order my steps. That’s how I pray.

No weapon formed against me shall prosper. You claim that over your life. You claim that over your family. You claim that over your business. You claim that over your ministry. You claim that no weapon formed against me will prosper. And that’s not a hope. So that’s an I know. So no weapon, absolutely not. I give no place to the devil, absolutely not.

I’m a new creation in Christ. Old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. I don’t have to worry about yesterday, who I was yesterday. I know who I am today. I’m a brand new creature in Christ Jesus, the old man doesn’t matter anymore. What he did before doesn’t matter anymore. That’s not who I am. I’m not tempted by the things I used to be tempted by. I can do new things, I can do hard things, I can do impossible things, because all things are possible. To him who believes, that’s another one. You set a table before me in the presence of my enemies.

Oh my gosh, god has done this for me so many times, and if I’m needing him to do that, if I’m facing an enemy and I need to be able to feast and not fight and worry about it, I pray that prayer. Help me to walk in the spirit and not according to the flesh. I say, lord, I am to walk in the spirit and not after the flesh, because flesh will give birth to flesh. I want to birth the supernatural in life, I want to birth the spirit. So I pray that over my life I release the word of God. Over my life, let’s see, god grant me a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you. Oh, that I have the mind of Christ. I ask for God to give me his mind, that I have wisdom and revelation, a spirit of wisdom and revelation, not just a momentary knowledge of something. I want a spirit resonant with me, going with me, helping me when I’m reading the word, when I’m dealing with people, when I have to raise up and train up my family, whatever the situation is that I am able to when I do this. Oh God, give me a spirit of wisdom and revelation to be able to impart your word to your people.

How about this one? You do not forsake the work of your hands. Oh, I know that’s true. God said he does not forsake the work of his hands. He puts his hand to the plow, he never turns back, he finishes, he makes that thing complete. You are faithful to, in fact, that’s the next verse. You are faithful to complete the good work you have started.

I pray that for myself. You’ll finish what you started in me. You’ll finish in my kids what you started in them. You’ll finish in my husband what you started in him. You’ll finish in our ministry what you started. God will finish. He’s a finisher, he knows how to finish and he finishes well, you will perfect that which concerns me. Amen.

God will perfect what is concerning you today. He will, and it’s not a I hope he will Declare it. Quit saying I hope, we hope in God, but I know his word is true, so I believe it. I declare it in Jesus name you will sustain me on my sickbed and restore me to full health. Whatever sickness you have in your bodies, no, I will be restored. You will sustain me in this sickbed and you will restore me to full health in Jesus name.

How about this one, and this is the last one I’ll give you today? You are the Lord who heals me. Whatever you need in your body today, whatever you’re believing for, whatever you need deliverance from, you have a God who hears and answers prayer, and he has given you his word and the power. He is the power source. The word is the power source, and you have what you need, everything you need. He says. He’s given you everything you need for life and godliness. You’re not lacking one thing you have strength, you have God, you have his word, you have his name, you have his blood. Oh, my goodness, you have everything that you need. I pray you go encouraged in the word of the Lord today, in faith, and pray powerful prayers. I’ll see you next time. Bye-bye.
